The Metro East is close enough to St. Louis that our operator can be on site early without a long drive, and that shows up in how relaxed the setup is. There is time to talk with the funeral director, agree on camera placement, test the audio, and be completely still before the first guests walk in.
Metro East families are frequently split between Illinois, Missouri and further afield. A private livestream link is often the only realistic way for a sibling in another state or a grandchild deployed overseas to be present for the service.
Many services here move from a church in Belleville or Edwardsville to a cemetery a few miles away. We plan that transition in advance so graveside coverage begins calmly rather than in a scramble between locations.
